Les Cactus is named for a French song from the Sixties, and though its design is of recent vintage, it captures the playful side of the decade that inspired it. With just 27 rooms it’s modestly sized, and its location, five minutes’ drive from downtown Palm Springs, keeps it tranquil. There’s a lovely pool and a fire pit, and drinks are served in the lounge and courtyard — for a restaurant, you’ll want to venture further into town.
