There can be a sort of safe, business-like quality to a lot of city center hotels. Not so at W Kuala Lumpur, which has taken the modern skyscraper hotel and thrown a few buckets of paint over it, adding pops of color and futuristic touches across its guestrooms. And if there’s a better communal space than the funkily designed WET Deck, with its pink-hued lighting, rooftop pool, and stunning view of the Petronas Twin Towers, then we’d love to see it.
