Another of Spain’s historic Paradores properties, the Parador de Granada is unbeatable when it comes to uniqueness; this 14th-century Moorish palace-turned-convent-turned–luxury hotel is located within the walls of the Alhambra, the fortress that presides over the city of Granada. Needless to say, it’s chock full of historical character, even in the latter-day addition, and the facilities are quite up to date.
