Occupying an old stone farmhouse outside the village of Bermeo, this eight-suite property is set amid the region’s famous green hills and sheep pastures. The hotel is owned and operated by a pair of brothers who work with local farmers, artisans, and winemakers to stock everything from the all-natural soaps in the bathrooms to the one-of-a-kind ceramics on the breakfast table and the selection of Txakoli in the wine cellar.

The interiors have been updated with sustainability and simplicity in mind. Rooms and suites feature charmingly rustic original details — exposed stone walls, sloping wood-beamed ceilings — and a minimalist sensibility.
