Relais & Châteaux Hotel Diepeschrather Mühle is the classic full-spectrum, chef-driven hospitality experience: a small but luxurious hotel, made up of a mere 25 rooms, suites, and villas, accompanied by a fine restaurant or two. In this case Mr. Mühle has relocated the award-winning gourmet restaurant Schote from Essen to the country, and added the more casual (though scarcely less artful) Müllers in der Mühle. A German luxury hotel, small or otherwise, wouldn’t be complete without a spa and a wellness area — this one with a sauna, hammam, and swimming pool.
