MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

The concept here is ‘Hokuriku’s bounty’. Pride is taken in ingredients, with fresh-caught seafood and Kaga and Noto vegetables flown in from the proprietress’s hometown, Nanao City. We recommend starting with the very fresh sashimi. The specialities are black scraper with liver, and whole grilled nodoguro. Also good are the seasonal tastes like firefly squid in spring, fugu and salt-water ayu in summer and cold season yellowtail in winter.
