Grantley Hall
The rooms are divided between the main house and a contemporary addition; the former are perhaps more idiosyncratic in their layouts, owing to the contours of the old house, but neither category is categorically more desirable. Throughout, the historical atmosphere is complemented by thoroughly up-to-date comforts and spotless ornaments and textures. They’re all luxe, but the suites are positively jaw-dropping; the Royal spreads out over two levels, and the Presidential has a grand piano.
Bedrooms aside, Grantley Hall’s attractions include a surprisingly extensive spa and fitness center, as well as no fewer than two bars and three restaurants, including the flagship, Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall, recipient of one MICHELIN Star.
