An 1895 Queen Anne–style house on the edge of Wilmington’s riverside downtown district provides the setting for a unique guest house. Dreamers Welcome is worthy of its name, its interiors expertly designed, full of contemporary artworks, modern furniture, and one-of-a-kind antiques. Some are soothing in white, cream, and blond wood, others more intense in patterned wallpapers or floor-to-ceiling Klein blue; all are as comfortable as can be. It’s more than just a collection of bedrooms, too — there’s a delightful little reading room, some excellent porches for lounging, and a fine vegan breakfast by Californian chef Anna Masteller.
