Royal Mansour Marrakech

Rue Abou Abbas El Sebti, Marrakech, Morocco
53 Rooms
Contemporary Classic & Lively
Owned and designed by Morocco’s King Mohammed VI, the Royal Mansour was conceived as a city within a city — and could certainly pass for one. Here, guests don’t stay in mere rooms, but in one of 53 private riads set within five hectares of painstakingly landscaped Moorish gardens. Each riad (the smallest of which boasts three floors) is like a palace unto itself, with on-call butlers, open-air courtyards, Baccarat chandeliers, and thick silk carpets made by local artisans. The rest of the hotel is no less extravagant. The spa, with its famous birdcage-like entrance, is the perfect place to indulge after a day of sightseeing, and guests have their choice of restaurants, one of which, La Grande Table Marocaine, features the work of chef Yannick Alléno, whose French restaurants have won multiple Michelin stars.
