MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
With only three private rooms in a courtyard house next to the Imperial Palace, this exclusive establishment re-creates exquisite and elaborate dishes previously served only in state banquets. The late founder started his career in 1939 and had cooked for many heads of state. His grandson now at the helm offers a greatest-hits menu with occasional western twists, spiced up by celebrity tales. Reservations recommended.
