The name of this restaurant situated in the Art Nouveau-style hotel of the same name pays tribute to the painter Adolf Waldinger, who was born in Osijek in 1843. In bright, modern dining rooms adorned with contemporary paintings, enjoy a selection of traditional dishes, with something for all tastes on the menu. If you like strong flavours, try the Slavonian black pork cheeks, while guests with a sweet tooth will be tempted by delicious desserts from the Gold pastry shop on the other side of the street, including Krempite tart (a puff pastry speciality with custard cream). The wine list includes labels from local, small-scale wineries. Comfortable, well-appointed guestrooms complete the picture.
