The Auberge Resorts Collection now spans a continent, but its roots are in the California wine country — and it’s to these roots that Stanly Ranch returns. True to the name, it’s set on a 712-acre ranch, and on the grounds you’ll find not only the brand’s typically lavish rooms, suites, and villas, but also a truly vast spa complex offering a state-of-the-art wellness program. The look of the accommodations is ranch-inspired but as tasteful as you’d expect; they feel tailored to the place, but without a hint of kitsch. Among the restaurants is Bear, focused on Napa Valley ingredients (and wines).
