Just under an hour from Budapest, the late-19th-century Schossberger Castle, once neglected, has been restored to its original neoclassical and neo-baroque splendor and transformed into a contemporary luxury boutique hotel: Botaniq Castle of Tura. Some rooms are smallish, as is the norm in historic structures, but they’re comfortable all the same; others spread out to generous sizes and occasionally add private terraces. In the spa, treatments are inspired by the castle’s own gardens.
