Whereas the original Ian Schrager vision seemed firmly rooted in its native New York, his collaboration with Marriott is as global as can be. The Bodrum EDITION is true to the brand’s visually minimalist but decidedly high-end style, and yet it looks perfectly at home on a bay overlooking the Aegean Sea. Its 108 rooms, suites, and villas feel residential in their warmth, and the atmosphere is stylish yet casual, in contrast with some of Bodrum’s flashier hotels. A spa, a beach club, and a blissful infinity pool are among the offerings; social venues include a nightclub as well as Turkish, Japanese, and Latin American restaurants.
