Hotel de Pavie

Among the world’s many wine regions, Saint-Émilion enjoys a special distinction; its vineyards were the first to be officially recognized by UNESCO for their historic significance. In the medieval village in the heart of the landscape, you’ll find Hôtel de Pavie, a luxury hotel that pays homage to that viticultural tradition. Guest rooms and suites are spread across three locations: the main house, once a convent, an annex across the garden, and a few kilometers away, on the grounds of the Chateau Pavie winery. While the architecture is antique, interiors are fresh and modern, with boldly colored furnishings and patterned wallpaper. Some have balconies, and most have views over the Dordogne Valley or the rooftops of Saint-Émilion. The hotel features a two-Michelin-star restaurant, a cozy wine bar warmed by a fireplace, and, very sensibly, a lavish breakfast spread to prepare visitors for a day out wine tasting in the area.
