The spectacular and relatively quiet Savoyard mountain town of La Clusaz is home to a hotel with the humble name Au Cœur du Village. Here, hidden behind a subdued (but handsome) Alpine-lodge façade, is a luxurious and stylish 60-room hotel complete with an expansive crystal-themed spa and a well-equipped ski shop. The rooms and suites are equal parts Alpine warmth and modern chic, decorated with works by the local artist Ludovic Di Orio.
