Gwendal Poullennec said, “I am grateful that this year we can gather many guests and chefs physically in Stavanger to celebrate and pay tribute to the new restaurants within our Nordic selection, their talented chefs, and their dedicated teams. It is a perfect warm up to the summer holidays in the Nordic Countries, where we hope that foodies get a chance to experience the fantastic gastronomy and quality that our inspectors experience year after year in this region”.

Mayor of Stavanger, Ms Dagny Sunnanå Hausken, commented, “As Norway’s no.1 food region, Stavanger is very proud to host the Michelin Star Revelation 2022. Hosting an event of this calibre puts the food city of Stavanger on the map and strengthens our region as an international food destination. The restaurants in this region have worked their way through the pandemic, and I am proud that once again they get to share world-class culinary experiences with guests from all over the world".

Director of Tourism in Visit Region Stavanger, Mr Per Morten Haarr added, “The Stavanger region is home to some of Norway’s best dining experiences, offering visitors world-class produce and local ingredients. We are looking forward to hosting the 2022 MICHELIN Guide Nordic Countries in July, an event which gives Nordic Gastronomy well-earned international recognition and attention”.
