MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Located just a stone’s throw from the Plaza Mayor, with a name that pays a small homage to the school that existed in this district a number of years ago. The restaurant, which occupies a pleasantly restored 19C house, boasts a small entrance hall, bright dining rooms with a classic-rustic feel, and vaulted ceilings. The chef here creates traditionally inspired dishes which stand out for the quality of ingredients used, most of which are from Extremadura, and the meticulous presentation. The Iberian sirloin steak and the carpaccio of Retinto beef are both exquisite. Impeccable service completes the picture!
