MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
A recurring motif of white Yulan, the city flower of Shanghai, is part of the lavish decoration here, along with opulent materials such as glass and jade. The menu, as its name suggests, is geared slightly towards river fish lovers, with dishes such as steamed dried river fish Ningbo-style, puffed rice in seafood soup with leafy greens, and Xihu pastry with Zha Cai filling. Each private room is named after a flower, with matching themed cutlery.
