MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
An appealing modern restaurant with an intimate atmosphere. In the kitchen, chef-patron Guy Graessel, who hails from Alsace, focuses on classic fare from Alsace and Baden. For al fresco dining, there are tables in the pedestrian precinct and in the charming courtyard (the "Gärtle"). In the entrance area, Café Hesselbacher sells house-made cakes, tortes and pastries at the weekend over the counter or pre-ordered.
