The Editory Boulevard Aliados positions itself as being in the heart of Porto’s financial district, but in truth you’re just as well situated for weekend sightseeing as you are weekday business meetings, with major sights and some fantastic bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. It certainly doesn’t feel like a business hotel style-wise either, rooms are decked out in an eclectic mix of floral wallpapers, fun stripes and geometric prints and comr accessorized with quirky artworks and retro telephones. Facilities are also geared towards enjoying some downtime; there’s an outdoor pool and terrace, a fitness room, and a bar and restaurant, Ilícito, which serves up Portuguese and international dishes from both land and sea.
