It would be hard to imagine a more inspiring place in which to conjure up such refined cuisine than a 12C Cistercian abbey. Beneath these impressive ribbed vaults, a wonderful tribute is paid to the terroir of Burgundy (snails, frog legs, lake and river fish, blackcurrants and honey from the flowers growing in the gardens), not to mention a wine list that harbours many treasures. Prolong the meditative experience in the 7ha grounds. Luxurious guestrooms are also available.
