Rooms and suites look out over the surrounding vineyards, as do the freestanding cottages, which come with fireplaces and private patios. This is still an upscale bed-and-breakfast at heart, offering a champagne continental breakfast in the morning and light bites and sweet treats throughout the day. But if there’s one rural setting where a hotel can comfortably go without a restaurant, it’s Napa Valley, which is stuffed to the gills with high-end culinary attractions.
