Whiskey Row has no shortage of stories, and Hotel Distil happens to occupy one of its most important addresses: the former J.T.S. Brown & Sons bourbon warehouse. Today the restored façade opens onto glassy, contemporary interiors, but the bourbon heritage is never far away. At 7:33 each evening, marking the year 1933 when Prohibition ended, guests are invited to raise a glass in a nightly ritual. Rooms are spacious and modern, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing city and river views. Think of it as the rare hotel where history comes with a chaser.
