They’ve got Venice and ancient Egypt on the Vegas Strip, why not Miami Beach too? The Fontainebleau Las Vegas is inspired by the Floridian icon with which it shares its name, but as it’s 70 years younger and more than twice the size — to say nothing of its vast casino — it’s definitely its own beast. The accommodations are suitably lavish, and the amenities are correspondingly over-the-top, including the vast Lapis Spa, the six-acre pool deck, and the 3,800-seat theatre. Meanwhile the Fontainebleau’s multitude of restaurants features concepts from a who’s-who of well-known restaurateurs.
