In Ajman, the smallest of the Emirates, Al Zorah Beach Resort makes a striking first impression: a steel-and-glass structure by an Italian architect, surrounded by reflecting pools and long views to the coast. Villas line the shore, while the main pool runs like a spine through the property. Inside, suites are spacious, with vast bathrooms and the option of open-air showers. Dining ranges from Vinesse, surrounded by pools of water and generous with its breakfast spreads, to Aquario, a beachside seafood restaurant complete with a “fish sommelier.” Beyond the resort lie mangroves frequented by flamingos, offering a reminder of Ajman’s quieter landscape.
