The simplest rooms, up a flight of stairs in the main house, have vaulted ceilings and feature a king-sized bed, a seating area with a fireplace, a writing desk, and a simple bathroom with a jetted tub. Thoughtful extras range from plush bathrobes and custom bath products to a small library of books and a mini-fridge to keep the Chardonnay cold. Larger rooms and suites, some accessible through private outdoor entrances, have cozy private patios, some with luxurious outdoor tubs. One of the farmhouses has a wraparound porch where a homemade breakfast is served. Lavender provides complimentary bicycles for exploring the Napa Valley Vine Trail, and the hotel’s brick-lined courtyard, strung with twinkling lights, is the perfect spot to relax by the fire with a glass of wine.
