LUA Resort could hardly have a more auspicious location than this, right in front of the newly built marina in the lakeside resort town of Balatonfüred. This proudly modern structure contains what might be the region’s most luxurious hotel, along with what is certainly one of the world’s most appealing conference centers. The rooms are crisp, clean-lined, and minimalist in their look, and while they’re not vast they’re certainly comfortable. There’s an infinity pool, a freshwater beach, a spa, and a restaurant and bar, NOON, that features menus designed by a chef from a Michelin-starred restaurant.
