Modern Cuisine
Just a stone's throw from Catalans Beach, this restaurant with its large bay windows offers a dreamlike panorama of the Bay of Marseille, between the Cercle des Nageurs and the Frioul Islands. Of Filipino origin, Chester Tsai (who has worked for Alain Ducasse all over the world) serves Mediterranean cuisine and more exotic dishes with Filipino and Singaporean accents: tomato gazpacho, peppers and cucumber, white sauce with garlic and pine nuts; sea bream with orange-glazed fennel, butter sauce and Timut pepper.

From its Greek founders to waves of immigrants from Italy, North Africa, the Middle East, and beyond, each community has left an indelible mark on the city’s dynamic food culture.
