A native New Yorker knows the city differently than those who flock here as adults. There's an innate sense of the city's pace, energy, and treasures flowing through their veins. So it's hardly surprising that Syracuse-born WNBA star and Olympic Gold medalist Breanna "Stewie" Stewart shared her must-visit spots in Manhattan.

The 2016 WNBA draft first pick had some time to scope out the landscape helping lead the New York Liberty to countless victories. Living in Brooklyn, Stewie shares some of her favorite spots - think Gage & Tollner; Prospect Park, and the 1 Hotel - along with some classic, family friendly spots like the Museum of Modern Art and the Brooklyn Art Museum.

Below, get to know Stewie's New York for a slam dunk time in the Big Apple, and make sure to check out more insights from MICHELIN Inspectors, chefs, and celebrities.
