The Hegmanns run this genuinely charming restaurant that is a hit with diners. Only the best produce makes its way into the dishes, which are meticulously prepared to bring out the full flavour of the ingredients. On Fri-Sun, two four- to eight-course seasonal set menus, one of which is vegetarian, are served. On Mon, tapas menu only – to be washed down with something from the promising wine selection. Extremely friendly waitstaff. Tip: The chef's table is very close to the kitchen but sheltered from the thick of the action.
