A fixture in Vermont’s Woodstock Valley for nearly two centuries, the Kedron Valley Inn is a perfect example of 19th-century character adapted to 21st-century life. The owners have taken few liberties with the structure, while the rooms retain antique furnishings and atmosphere even as they’ve been subtly modernized. Ransom Tavern is the Neapolitan restaurant, serving wood-fired pizzas and a long list of wines for dinner Thursday through Sunday; a pop-up Sushi shop is open on Wednesdays, and the South Woodstock Country Store Café serves breakfast and lunch, and stocks a wide selection of local and artisan-made products.
