The house’s architecture has been lovingly restored, and in archetypal Italian style its historical elements are counterposed against modern furnishings and other contemporary design gestures. The comforts, too, are up to date, if unobtrusively so; the result is an experience that combines the best of old and new.
Tre Bacili’s bistro offers breakfast and cooking classes, and if you book in advance for a group of four or more, also lunch and dinner. Meanwhile the village of Spongano is nothing if not picturesque.
