A sleepy alpine valley as the setting for a modern design hotel — you must be in northern Italy. The sleek black-clad acute triangle that is Nerocubo stands in the midst of a natural landscape that has inspired awe since the Stone Age. And it’s worth noting ahead of time that if you book a room with a view — such as the Sky or Panorama suites, with their full-length windows — you’ll awaken to a stunning view of the surrounding Dolomites.
