What a shame that would be given the likes of Hotel Landhaus Wachtelhof, an enchanted, turreted garden stay just steps from the forested trails of Lower Saxony. Just about every spot on the property enjoys bright views of the manicured landscaping, including the greenhouse-style winter garden and the armchairs by the fireplace in the lobby bar.
