All the better for its guests, then, as it keeps the traffic low on the sweeping staircases of the hotel’s vast split-level lobby. Guest rooms are oversized, in a style best described as modern-Zen meets Art Deco, with Japanese-style wood paneling and sliding doors and warm, earthy tones in the carpets and fabrics. The Italian marble bathrooms are outfitted with glass sinks, spa baths and wall-mounted TV screens. High-speed internet is standard, as are PlayStations, and second-hand books sit by the bedside as a diversion for less tech-inclined guests. And the suites are almost comically luxurious, offering fireplaces or private terraces.
Hidden away on an upper floor is a 25-meter edgeless pool, along with a fitness studio and day spa. Radii, the restaurant, is an Art Deco fantasy spread across five levels, serving modern European cuisine, or drinks from the circular bar. High tea is served daily in the lobby lounge, and the hotel is convenient to any number of restaurants and shops on and around Collins Street.

Nice bathroom and location.
The rooms. Everything was well done and thought through. The espresso machine was clean with plenty of pods. Nice cups. Excellent soaps and toiletries. Nice towels. It was like being at a nice home rather than a hotel.
