Instead of building a typical resort complex from scratch, the proprietors sourced a variety of antique houses, in Chinese, Malay, and colonial styles, and moved them from their original locations, dismantling them piece by piece and painstakingly rebuilding them on this site.
The result is more like an eclectic little neighborhood than an ordinary villa resort. There’s a Heritage House available for more or less any taste — some houses are divided into up to four or five rooms, others split into pairs of suites, and the Negri Sembilan House is a self-contained unit. Each one is uniquely decorated in a style that blends authentic architecture and contemporary interior design, and none of them lack for personality, to say the absolute least.
