The Isola Maddalena, just off the northern coast of Sardinia, is home to a lavish, modern, and blissfully adults-only hotel: the Grand Hotel Ma&Ma. The rooms and suites range widely in size, from the economical Classic to the properly lavish Presidential suite, and the hotel’s four floors are decorated in four distinct styles: minimal, casual, romantic, and “fashion.” The spa is an extensive one, with a sauna, a Turkish bath, and a heated pool, and the restaurants offer some variety as well, from the upscale L’Antica Isola to the casual, open-air, wood-fired MaMa Pizza.
