In reality, it’s been welcoming guests for about four decades and received a full-scale renovation in 2016 — so the modern touches you’d expect from a contemporary luxury hotel are decidedly in place. Today there are 33 guest rooms and 15 suites, all bathed in exceptional natural light. Tasteful neutrals drive the decor, with striking red accents, all of which ensure the sun has center stage. The proprietors clearly want their guests to get the most out of the hotel’s location in the countryside. Upgrade to a pool suite for a private outdoor pool and terrace. But even a classic room includes an outdoor balcony with excellent views.
“Bathed in light” seems to be the running theme here, and it’s one of the major selling points of the luxurious Sothys spa on the premises. The same goes for the hotel restaurant — and if a sunny, welcoming dining room or in-house bistro aren't enough for you, take your meals out on the terrace overlooking the Luberon countryside.
