Set in the city center, not far from the Jardin Anglais and the lake, Hôtel Longemalle occupies an ornate historic building. Its interiors, however, were renovated in 2019, and the result is a hotel that pays generous tribute to the past but is thoroughly contemporary in aspect. The rooms are colorful, as are the public spaces, and the spaces are anything but minimalist, filled with artworks and objets both modern and antique. Restaurants include Swiss fine dining in the Restaurant de la Cigogne, under the direction of chef Nicolas Pasquier, and Balila, a modern Lebanese option courtesy of chef Hussein Hadid.
