University-adjacent hotels are often a bit too reserved to express themselves aesthetically, but Fellows House is enthusiastic about its neighbor, the University of Cambridge — this apartment-style hotel features boutique-hotel good looks and is filled to the brim with references to the long and colorful history of this venerable university town. Rooms, studios, and apartments are named for the likes of Kipling, Blake, and Alan Turing, and while they’ve almost all got full kitchens, Fellows House is justifiably proud of its food and beverage offerings, which include Folio Kitchen, the Folio Bar, and a café called The Sage of Cambridge.
