The Fife Arms is located not in Fife but in Braemar, deep in the Scottish highlands. And while its name is a remnant of its past as a Victorian-era coaching inn, inside it’s much more than a trip back in time. It’s the passion project of the Swiss gallerists Manuela and Iwan Wirth, and is correspondingly filled with extremely impressive artworks. The rooms and suites vary in size but are quite uniformly luxurious and ornately decorated — only in the spa will you find anything approaching minimalism. Multiple dining and drinking venues include the dazzling Clunie Dining Room and the impressively well-supplied Bertie’s Whisky Bar.

- BOOKING CHANGES: Rates are subject to change & hotel reserves the right to change your accommodation should we need to.
- CHECK IN & CHECK OUT: Check-in at any time from 3.00pm on the scheduled day of arrival. On the day of departure we kindly ask you to vacate your rooms by 11.00am. Late check-out after this time can be requested, subject to availability, and may be charged at an hourly rate at our discretion. We would be more than happy to look after your luggage if you wish to extend your day of arrival or departure.
- CANCELLATION POLICY: A valid payment card must be provided at the time of reservation. Cancellations within your rates stated cancellation period will be charged the balance of the reservation. Each rate booked has individual T&C’s which are laid out below.
- NO SHOWS
- All rooms that have been secured by credit/debit card or prepaid at the time of booking will be held until 11.59pm on the scheduled date of arrival unless otherwise agreed directly with the hotel. The hotel may change these standard terms and conditions in relation to certain promotions and times of the year.
- No Shows will be charged the balance of the reservation.
