"Tradition meets modernity" is the theme here when it comes to both the decor and the flavoursome cuisine, which emphasises seasonal produce. The menu tempts diners with barbecued specialities and classics such as Franconian Fleckvieh beef roulade, or pike-perch fillet on a bed of creamed sauerkraut, not forgetting the Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake) with vanilla ice cream and apple compote. Be sure to take advantage of the inviting courtyard terrace in summer! For overnight stays, there are well-kept guestrooms and a lovely modern holiday home.
