Think of a Mykonos luxury boutique hotel and it’s likely what you’re imagining bears a strong resemblance to the Mykonos Blanc Hotel. Set at one end of the picturesque south-facing Ornos Beach — a short walk from its sister hotel, the beachfront Mykonos Ammos Hotel — it’s a picture-perfect slice of Cycladic hospitality, a terraced village of whitewashed villas containing 42 minimalist-chic rooms and suites.
Many of them face out to sea, some more directly than others, but all partake in the same atmosphere of untroubled seaside tranquility. All come with outdoor space, whether it’s a balcony, a private patio, a plunge pool, or an outdoor hot tub. And while the honeymoon suites and the Blanc suites are the top of the line, even the relatively double standard rooms are swanky, stylish, and more than comfortable enough.
A spa, a boutique, and a gym round out the creature comforts, along with a swimming pool with a view of the beach. On site is Pasaji, a restaurant serving a fusion of Greek, Italian, and Asian cuisines; at the neighboring Mykonos Ammos you’ll find the upscale Mediterranean restaurant called Kuzina, as well as Farina, an Italian trattoria.
