Modern Design & Lively
The Innside Premium Suites is part traditional hotel, part apartment building, geared toward executives on long trips, providing some 74 spacious and well-equipped suites, each complete with a mini-fridge and a kitchenette. The situation is reminiscent of Tokyo, with the hotel occupying the upper floors of a skyscraper, with banking offices on the lower floors. It’s perfectly natural for Frankfurt, though, a city that mixes its pleasure with generous helpings of business, and the views are difficult to argue with; the rooms boast far-ranging views over downtown “Mainhattan” and the 23rd-floor fitness center feels like the top of the world.
Interiors are contemporary in character, ranging across a few different styles, from colorful and feminine suites with inviting retro references to stark and minimal suites with severe modern furnishings in low-key muted colors. The central living space does double duty as a comfortable workspace, and plenty of natural light streams in through full-length office-block windows. The suites are equipped with wireless internet access and assorted other gadgetry, and some verge on decadence, featuring jacuzzi baths with views of the city.
Breakfast is available, and of course that kitchenette is perfectly suited to self-catering, if that’s your speed. If not, the surrounding area is rich with restaurants and cafes, not to mention retail therapy — some of Frankfurt’s finest shopping lies a short walk from the hotel’s front door.
