Nestled within the Langham Hotel with walls of windows overlooking Fifth Avenue, Ai Fiori is the perfect perch for the expense account crowd. The handsome marble bar and lounge is ideal for a post-work cocktail; while large florals, leather chairs, and square columns lure families into the formal dining room.
Service is gracious, the linens are thick, and every last detail is lovely. The menu boasts Italian favorites mingled with contemporary flair. The prix-fixe is the best way to experience dishes such as hiramasa crudo cleverly dressed with a creamy sunflower seed sauce, shiso and pickled spring onion; or the uniquely shaped sagne pasta lusciously arranged with braised rabbit, fresh mint, crushed Castelvetrano olives, and tender fava beans, additionally enhanced with a generous sprinkling of crisped breadcrumbs for good measure.
