The name (Suba translates as “climb up” in Portuguese) offers an invitation to dine at this restaurant on the top floor of the Verride Palácio Santa Catarina hotel, a palatial 18C property that has provided the aristocratic inspiration for the uniforms worn by the attentive team. Once you’ve savoured its modern and extensive Portuguese-style cuisine (á la carte, including vegetarian options, and as many as five menus), head up to the panoramic rooftop with its stunning 360° views of Lisbon. Children under 12 are not permitted in the restaurant.
