Comète

Comète is in the centre of the seaside resort, near the beach. Each dish by chef Victor Nicolas is a reminder of his Michelin-starred career in Paris and especially his time working for Christophe Pelé: the recipes are on the creative side, the ingredients good quality, preparations that don't mess around, elegant sauces and punchy condiments, such as the citrus fruit purée on the roast catfish. The decor of this small retro bistro (old pine floorboards, salvaged and mismatched furniture, vintage-style light fittings) does the rest.
