Facing the Cannaregio canal in Venice, the Carnival Palace Hotel is a cleanly updated palazzo hotel offering sumptuous modern luxury. Rooms are well-appointed and well-designed, each one unique, featuring high-end furnishings like Murano glass chandeliers. Roomy bathrooms come in gleaming Carrara marble, outfitted with chromotherapy lighting and extravagant sinks in gold or silver leaf. Further options are available for those who wish to have a rooftop garden view or a private jacuzzi on an adjacent terrace. Breakfast is served in the Palace’s cozy dining area or, weather permitting, in the rooftop garden — which, after hours, becomes the hotel’s bar, the Mask, known for its extensive wine list.
