The Restaurant Orphée in the old Regensburg city center bills itself as the most authentic French bistro east of the Rhine, and it’s got a few rooms upstairs — but the Orphée Andreastadel, its sister hotel, occupies the ground floor of an updated barn a ten-minute walk to the north, on the opposite bank of the Danube. Of its ten rooms, six feature patios overlooking the verdant riverbank.
